The Service

Mobile Home Exterior Cleaning

We clean the full exterior of mobile homes, park homes, and static homes (roofs, UPVC cladding, GRP panels, windows, and fascias) using soft-wash methods that are safe for all common surface types.

Mobile homes, park homes, and static homes need exterior cleaning just as much as conventional houses, and sometimes more so. The materials used on these homes, including UPVC cladding, GRP (fibreglass) panels, and rubber or felt flat roofing, all attract algae, moss, and weathering stains over time. In the South East's damp climate, and particularly on park homes near the coast in Kent and Sussex, this can happen quickly. Many owners do not realise specialist cleaning is available for their homes, or worry that any equipment would damage the surfaces. It will not, when the right methods are used.

We use low-pressure soft washing for mobile home, park home, and static home exteriors. High pressure is not appropriate for UPVC cladding or GRP panels. It can force water into joins and seals, cause surface crazing on fibreglass, and strip protective coatings. Soft washing uses lower pressure and specialist cleaning solutions that kill algae and break down organic growth at root level, then flush away cleanly. The result is a thorough clean without any risk of surface damage. We have been working with park home and mobile home owners across Kent and Sussex for several years and know exactly how these surfaces behave.

Safe for UPVC Cladding

Low-pressure soft washing only. No risk of forcing water into joins or crazing fibreglass surfaces. The correct method for mobile and park home exteriors.

All Surface Types Covered

UPVC cladding, GRP panels, rubber or felt flat roofs, windows, fascias, and gutters. Full exterior in a single visit.

Full Exterior in One Visit

We work around the full home methodically, roof to ground, front to back, so everything is done in one appointment.

Kent & Sussex Sites

We work with individual park home owners and site managers across Kent and Sussex, including coastal and rural sites.

High pressure is not safe for UPVC cladding or GRP panels. Soft washing is the correct method, and the results are just as dramatic.

Why It Matters

The Problem We Solve

Mobile Home Exterior Cleaning before treatment, Raw Power Exterior Cleaning

UPVC Weathering and Discolouration

Algae on UPVC cladding traps moisture against the material, accelerating weathering. Left untreated, the discolouration sets permanently into the surface and becomes very difficult to restore.

Flat Roof Membrane Deterioration

Moss on a flat roof retains water against the membrane, accelerating UV degradation and risking premature failure. Regular cleaning extends membrane life considerably and avoids expensive replacement.

Internal Damp and Condensation

Algae and mould at window seals and ventilation gaps can work their way inside, causing internal damp. Keeping the exterior clean reduces the conditions that allow moisture infiltration and the problems that follow.

"Absolutely brilliant result. The park home looks completely different, like it's had a fresh coat of everything. James was professional and took great care with the cladding. Highly recommend."

How We Work

Our Process

01

Surface Inspection & Material Identification

We walk the full exterior and identify all surface types (UPVC, GRP, rubber roof, timber) before we start. We note any damaged seals, joins, or areas of concern that need care during the clean.

What this means for you: We know exactly what we are cleaning and how before any equipment is switched on. No guesswork and no risk to unfamiliar surfaces.

02

Low-Pressure Soft Wash to Roof

We apply specialist biocide and cleaning solution to the roof at low pressure, killing organic growth at root level and lifting weathering stains without risk to the membrane or surface coating.

What this means for you: The roof is thoroughly treated, not just surface-rinsed. Algae and moss are killed, not temporarily cleared.

03

Exterior Walls & Cladding Treated

UPVC cladding, GRP panels, and any other wall surfaces are soft-washed using solutions matched to the material. We work methodically from top to bottom around the full perimeter.

What this means for you: Every panel and cladding section is clean, with no solution residue left on the surface.

04

Windows & Frames Cleaned

All windows and frames are cleaned as part of the same visit. We use pure water on glass surfaces for a streak-free finish.

What this means for you: Windows and frames are cleaned to the same standard as everything else, not left as an afterthought.

05

Full Rinse & Site Tidy

The entire exterior is rinsed down from top to bottom, gutters are cleared of debris, and the surrounding area is left tidy. We flag any maintenance concerns spotted during the clean.

What this means for you: We leave the site clean, tidy, and ready to use. Any maintenance issues we found are reported to you clearly before we go.

FAQs

What homeowners ask us before booking

The questions we hear most often, answered honestly.

Is soft washing safe for UPVC cladding?

Yes. Soft washing uses low pressure and specialist cleaning solutions. It is the correct method for UPVC cladding on mobile homes, park homes, and static homes. High pressure can force water into joins and seals, causing damp ingress and surface damage. Soft washing cleans thoroughly without any of those risks.

Can you clean GRP (fibreglass) panels?

Yes. GRP panels need soft washing, not high pressure. High pressure can cause surface crazing and strip the protective gel coat. Our methods are suitable for all common GRP panel types used on mobile and park homes.

Do you clean mobile home roofs?

Yes. We clean rubber, felt, and GRP flat roofs as well as any pitched sections. The method varies depending on the roof type, but we always use low-pressure soft washing to avoid membrane or surface damage.

Can you clean across a whole park site?

Yes. If you manage a park home site and want to arrange cleaning across multiple homes, contact us to discuss site-wide arrangements. We can work efficiently across multiple units on the same visit and will price accordingly.

How often should a mobile home exterior be cleaned?

For most sites in Kent and Sussex, once a year is sufficient to keep surfaces in good condition. Sites near the coast or heavily shaded by trees may benefit from cleaning every six to nine months. We will give you a realistic recommendation based on your location and conditions.
